Topic: How do I become a moderator?

Well? How do I?

I think your supposed to be asked the question, your supposed to be granted to be one I think. But ya gotta have good posting skills and all that crap......but to be sure, the administrators should tell ya.

A moderator????Sounds good.But I truly have no idea as for how you become one....

I got offered the job of mod once (or twice?) but I turned it down cause I was afraid I'd use the power for evil. :P Well that and I didn't see how I'd make any difference as one. I'm not really sure what I did to get offered it other than having one of the largest post counts, a good posting background, and, I think, was fairly nice to people.

So, yeah, I guess just be nice, good grammer and spelling, maybe minimod a bit. (minimod is when you act as a sort-of mod, but without the powers.) Like, if you see a topic in the wrong section alert the poster of that and then link to the right section. Or if there's already a thread for something, link them to that one. (Like say some newb posts a thread in General asking how we all became Fett fans, you'd welcome the poster to the boards, tell them there's already a thread like that, link them to it, and then post a smilie face, or something) Break up any fights you might see. I doubt you have to do the "back to topic" thing cause it seems a lot of people already minimod that rule. And then just hope Aaron likes it and offers the job to you.
