Aaargh!! You own Boba Fett book 6????  I  got books 2, 4, and 5. I'm trying to get my little sister to buy book 6 so that I won't have too...

Yep. I got them all at Barnes and Noble. Of course they come no where close to the Bounty Hunter Wars Trilogy in greatness, but what else to expect from a scholastic book...

I'm trying to go in Chronological Order, so I need to read a few more series and books before I get to the NJO. But I can't wait to read it, I've been curious about the NJO for a long time now.

I was considering entirely going in Chronological order... The problem is, it would be many, many, many years before I would every even need to consider think about reading the NJO, with all of the NR books there are...

Yeah, I started reading the books when I was 13, I'm just now up to where I need to read the Corellian Trilogy. But then I keep backtracking to the PT era now and then to read some new books, and every now and then I read a non-SW book. So, all in all it's took about 6 years to get up to where I am now.

I didn't really like tales from the empire, the picture on the front is boba and he isn't even in there. Oh well, the stories were ok, cantina was better.

I had that problem with Tales from the Empire. I got all excited thinking there would be a story about Boba in it. But, if you can still find it, Tales from the New Republic has a great Boba story in it. I think it's called "No Disintagrations, Please". I know sw.com has been publishing old stories that aren't in print anymore, but I don't know if this one's made it on the site yet or not. (it might be a Hyperspace feature too, but I can't remember) Ebay or Amazon might have it.

im just glad boba shows up in the NJO series, he actually saves Han's life!

well he also starts saving planets from the vong with the mandalorians he pieces together, if i remember right he also kills fin/ven shiza/ can't remember the guys name
no idea if that's in the books,comics, or just expanded universe

EDIT: Oh, and I totally forgot, I have all the nice Star Wars storybooks (Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi) and even though they're meant for little kids, sometimes they can be a good read.

And....OMFG! Read the NJO series! Get on it ASAP. Its worth every penny. Buy the e-books even (though Recovery comes with one of the other books...Star by Star I think). It is by far the best read I've ever had. I got so abosorbed into it, that  I found myself actually muttering various things about the Yuuzhan Vong gods while out with friends. Was kinda wierd O_O

I have most of the older novels, I think I've only got one of the New Order. The last book I bought was Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, before that I bought and read the MedStar books. Besides most of my books are in boxes at the moment. Moving will do that :P

I dunno, I kinda lost interest in the books with Leia, Han and Luke. Luke was interesting enough but the other two got really boring after a while. Though I did enjoy the Han Solo Trilogy.

I was kind of disappointed with Overkill.  Didn't seem to have much of a story to it.  Most of the Fett stories I've really liked where all in the Star Wars Tales comics, except for Twin Engines of Destruction.

I also have a book, i'm not sure what it's called but it has all the technology from TPM, ATOC, ANH, ESB, ROTJ, and EU

Are they the Visual Guides to....., that were all put out after the respective movies came out?  Those are pretty nice.  We got some close-up shots of Fett's gear from those books.

I just got the SW Republic Commando: Hard Contact. This is my first RC book and I have No idea whats going on! Could someone inform me on what happened in the last book please. :/

Hard Contact is the first book of the series.  Then, if you go chronologically, the short story called "Targets," then Triple Zero, then the short story called "Odds."

However, instead of having to get the Star Wars Insider issue that has "Targets" in it, it's included in the back of the Triple Zero book.  You might want to read it before the actual Triple Zero story, though, because they make reference to some of the events in the book.

Huh, reallly. Cuz I dont really know whats goin on! It seems like there should be a story before it. :/ I read about a clone named Darman who seems to be trying to blow up a door, while he lost contact with other team mates. It doesnt tell anything else. Or maybe should I just read on and find out?

Oh, that takes place at the battle of Geonosis, from Episode II.  His squad is briefly mentioned at the beginning of the Republic Commando game.  Delta Squad was asking Darman's squad if they could hurry it up, or something to that effect.  They're the squad that blow the doors open at the beginning of the game, that are already open for you when you fast-rope out of the LaaT gunship.  It's setting the stage for the formation of Omega squad, who are all made up of squads that got tore up pretty bad at Geonosis, because the Jedi's didn't know how to deploy them properly.  They were deployed like regular infantry, instead of Spec Ops, so they had heavy losses in a lot of squads because of that.  Omega Squad is made up of Commando's who were the sole survivors of their prior squads.

The Bounty Hunter wars were done really well.  I like how the author included a lot of info from Tales of the Bounty Hunters, between Fett and Dengar.  Kind of ties a lot of stuff together.

Um.....Ok, I just got to the part where the jedi Padawan was being chased and then she uses her saber to demand shelter......whats all that about? Or do I keep reading?

In the Bounty Hunter Wars, the 1st book, there is a story about a certain Oph Nar Dinnid. Bossk and Boba try to make a deal in Boba's room, remember?I cant seem to get the story right! Im a little slow, so could someone please refrase the story to make it simple enough for me to understand? :/

Here you go.  This is taken from the Boba Fett Wookieepedia segment I stuck in there a few weeks ago, about the Bounty Hunter Wars stuff.

Once part of the Guild, Boba assembled a team of hunters, including his old friend, the cyborg D'harhan, to go after Oph Nar Dinnid. The Lyunesi had a huge bounty on his head. The trail led to a clan of Shell Hutts for whom Dinnid hoped to work—but by the time Boba got there, one of the Hutts had killed Dinnid in a fit of rage. In the bloodshed that inevitably followed, D'harhan was killed. Zuckuss reported that Bossk had also been killed. Cradossk was pleased. He had been about to initiate a purge anyway. However, Bossk appeared and tore his hapless father apart. The result was exactly what Fett had been employed to engineer. The Guild was split in two along age lines.
