Topic: Boba Mail Away offer...

I have an original Boba Fett mail away that I saved 4 proofs of purchase and sent away for when I was 5 years old, but like 99% of the kids that got it we ripped it out of the box and began playing with it right away.  Is there any way to prove that my Boba is the real deal without the box and the little slip that explained why the rocket didn’t fire even though the advertised it would?  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The mail-away Boba Fett came in a mailing box, baggie, and the flyer from Kenner.

Check the ToysRGus.com collector site, which notes any variations from that late-70's start to Fettdom:

Dude...i don't know what i can do to help, i hope it all works out for ya. There might be some numbers or something somewhere on the fig....i'm not sure, but if there is, then you can try to see if they can do anything with that. IDK  maybe that is just a dead end...yeah, ya shoulda kept the box....hmmm

Maybe you could print out a pic of the figure in the package, and show it next to the real figure. Just an idea. :/

Thanks for the ideas, since I originally posted there have been 2 ideas that may or may not help.  Thanks to MandalorianSpy9 for the idea, but sure enough my Boba has info on the back of his legs on the calf muscle.  The other possibility is the AFA or Action Figure Authority, I guess the way it works is you download a form from their website and send them money and the figure to check the validity of it, they also incase it in hard plastic shell so not further damage or wear effects it.  We shall see how this works out, there is a guy on eBay has the same mail away figure on auction for $175
