Yeah.I think durasteel would come in handy, because it is the strongest metal in the galaxy.
No, I should've been more clear. What I was asking was if you can think of any household items that may be a shape of some new ships. ;)

A battery-powered mixer without the beaters, with two of those frosting spreader thingies held out like wings could resemble Slave I. :P
How about just the mixer with the beaters? That would make an interesting ship.
{MW} TW :P
You could always melt down an old stainless steel pot or something. I must admit i've never really thought about it...lol

Yeah, its kinda hard thinkin up of these "ships". Thats why I posted this.
OH!!! How about a full detached doorknob?!?!? Just look onto the side of a door, you'll see the shape of the new ship............The Bonk Rood' :D
Hint, Hint: Doorknob spelled backwards. ;)

lol nice one... How about the refrigerator....the whole thing. It might be a little boxy at first....it might shape out. But why in the world....Fett would need his....
{MW} MS9
Thats kinda funny! lol I can just see a HUGE fridge in space....
Pilot: Firing missiles.....
*Freezer opens and popsicles fly out at enemy* ahahahha. :P

lol....hmmm still thinking he could melt the metal eating utencils down...but then everything would become a finger food and he would have to clean his gloves often.....and also the washer/dryer would be broke...so he'd have to get it dry cleaned.....which would cost him Bling Bling.... ok i'm getting tired.

a ship with the shape of a spoon looks like a nice design for a ship
My Black and Decker Toaster oven with the curved, retro yet stylish door, and chrome trim. It's either a massive garbage scow , or, some kind of troop transport. Ah yes, a space barge with a lid.
Hmm........Nice ideas everyone.could we get a pic of that toaster if you could get it? :)
{MW} TW
hey i think i have that toaster!
Ya got a pic? :D I'd like to visualize this shape very much.
{MW} TW
Sadly, I don't think I have one...
*Sigh*........could you get a google pic? Do you have a photobucket? :/
{MW} TW
...I'm not sure...What photobucket is :/
I'll private message you.
Anywayz.....I was thinkin maybe a toothbrush could be a ship? :/
{MW} TW
A saucer would do. You know.... as in flying saucer.... :D
he,......just like a plate or somethin? Yeah, I guess that could do.

You could use one of those tea-kettle ride things from Disney-World.
Hehe, cool thread. I think that a computer's mouse could be a ship. (one of those sleek microsoft or logitech mice.)
Now that is what I'd love to see... lets see that thing dock with a huge computer ship and moniter in space...
w00tness if you ask me...
You could use one of those tea-kettle ride things from Disney-World.
lol wouldnt it suck to be in a ship like that, huh? Twirling around everywhere and stuff. Imagine Boba twirling around trying to catch hi bounty, then he throws up in his helmet. :P EWWW!!

thats a pretty good idea Kel! Have you ever seen a computer rat? Its like a mouse, but you leave it in place and move it with the ball near your thumb. A mouse or a rat would make a pretty cool, sleek ship!
{MW} TW
"A mouse or a rat would make a pretty cool, sleek ship!"
To the labratory! =) Yeah, those rat's are pretty cool. (Didn't know they were called rats though lol)
Cool idea!

I've seen that you've been trying to quote me, Kel. This is how you quote.
You just press quote next to the persons post, and write an added message to it. Get it, got it, good! ;)
And I dont know exactly what they're called, I heard some peeps call them "rats" so I stuck with it. :/
{MW} TW
Sure! lol  That'd be annoying after a while, though. :/
{MW} TW
He,he!Rats!Yeah that would be fun!
I hate rats. My grandma had one. I tried to use her computer once and I lasted five minutes before I gave up and never touched it again.
He,he!What about....a bathtub?LOL!:D
Hmmm......a bathtub, eh? Hmmmm......I dont know about that one, what do other people think about a bathtub? :/

I'm not sure about that one, I was going to say that Slave 1 wasn't taken from an iron but from a street lamp, which I heard from some DVD or something somewhere. So I decided to do a little search so I didn't go putting my foot in it, turns out it was based of a radar dish according to wookieepedia. But yeah I think an Iron would be good to.:D
I like rats... real ones, that is.
Radar dish, street lamp.. I don't know, I'm not really seeing it. Maybe radar dishes and lamps look different in America, but that thing is definately an iron.
All I can say on the subject of other appliances is thank goodness they didn't make it look like a wok. I know we've got a constellation called 'the saucepan' (I think Americans call it the 'big dipper'), but a wok shaped ship would be taking things too far...
The mass transport ship in Attack of the Clones looks like a flying stapler to me. I commented somewhere else that that concept of Slave III looks like a flying tape dispenser. I seem to be stuck on desk items lately.
And as for flying saucers, I'm about 40 minutes away from THE flying saucer house, up on the hill in Genessee Colorado. I always thought it looked like a giant clam.
As for something off the top of my head, how about a flying wok? The handle could be a missle launcher or something.
EDIT: Holy cow *try reading the whole thread, Emma* I didn't see Ciepher's comment about a wok until after I posted.
