November 11, 2020 11:23 pm # 24 hours until the next episode, so starting up the thread.
Spoilers Ahead
Mentions of "Mandalorians" plural being sought out in the last episode, so who might they be?
When will we see Temuera Morrison and will he say something like in the "Holiday Special" – "I am Boba Fett" – to get out of the "man with no name" state that he's currently in? (Let your head canon go wild, but he wasn't officially name checked yet.)
IMDb conveniently swapped their wrong Episode 2 photo over to Episode 3, which is the boat picture. Maybe they'll be right this time, but who knows with not-yet-released content on there.

We won't be seeing The Man with No Name in this episode, as a matter of fact, I would consider the possibility of not seeing this man again until Season 3.

November 12, 2020 9:28 am # The trailer from September shows Frog Lady on the boat, so that makes sense to be Episode 3, continuing that storyline:

November 12, 2020 1:30 pm # Katee Sackhoff, who voiced Bo-Katan Kryze on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, just tweeted "is it Friday yet." This kind of tweet seems to relate to The Mandalorian being released on Friday (in ~ 10 hours from now). So, possibly seeing Bo-Katan, hmm?
Helmet nod to BFFC contributor The Real McCoy for spotting this one.
UPDATE: She added a joke in a follow up tweet, in case this has nothing to do with The Mandalorian.

November 12, 2020 5:09 pm # Boba Fett french, we'll see about all of those three things soon.
Generally, Google is not a publisher but aggregating data from elsewhere, so it's not accurate just because it's a search result, even if the fancier boxed ones.

November 12, 2020 8:54 pm # Google had the right synopsis last week. As was the case with previous series like Rebels and Resistance
November 12, 2020 9:14 pm # Boba Fett french, true, but they're populating it from some other source. They aren't authoring it. :-)

November 13, 2020 12:41 am # Omg! That episode was amazing! And I'm *very* pleased with glee they addressed the seeming discontinuity in Mandalorian culture between the Clone Wars/Rebels and the Mandalorian.
November 13, 2020 12:50 am # GeekPharm, true! The unmasked versus masked debate, polarizing both parties but then finding some things in common after all.
This will be a fan favorite episode.
Nice the Mandos are more "pro" here, highlighting Din is a kinda intermediate bounty hunter. Hopefully the future content with Temuera / Boba will also have that dynamic or even more, whereas with Cobb, they got all of the amateur jokes out of the way (but still endearing – lots of Cobb fans now).

November 13, 2020 1:16 am (Edited November 13, 2020 01:19 am) # Great episode! It was nice to see them address why most Mandalorian clans we’ve seen can remove their helmets, while Din’s clan cannot.
November 13, 2020 1:20 am # How do y'all always get such high quality screen shots? Does disney provide a media package or something or do you guys have the tech to produce them yourselves?
November 13, 2020 6:16 am # I described the previous episode as "the calm before the storm"
I was correct. I was very very correct lol.

November 13, 2020 1:15 pm # GeekPharm, just Disney+ on a large desktop, then scaled down and sharpened for now. All of these are just from pausing the show and not from Disney's press kit, which I'll post separately on here.

November 13, 2020 2:00 pm # Seeing Katee Sackhoff playing Bo Katan irl, it makes me wish just a little bit more that Ashley Ekstein could have done Ahsoka instead of Rosario Dawson. Don't get me wrong, she'll be amazing, but will be just a little sad not hearing *the* voice (unless they have her redub it all in ADR)
November 13, 2020 8:19 pm # I just watched the episode! Omg it was awesome! It was very interesting to see the interaction between Bo and Mando. How at first, Mando see these other Mandalorian’s save him and then once they remove their helmets, he immediately sees them as not Mandalorian. Bo recognizes what clan Mando is a part of, calling him part of a cult. It was also pretty awesome to hear Bo say “this is the way” almost in a way of making fun of Mando and how the clan he comes from acts. Obviously it was really cool also to hear Ashoka Tano’s name and how Bo wants the Darksaber to reclaim/rule Mandalore. The best part about this episode for me though was how it seems like Moff Gideon is trying to rebuild the Empire using Mandalorian weapons/tech. It also seems like he doesn’t care too much about ruling Mandalore, he just wants their resources. Can’t wait to see where this all goes!
November 14, 2020 3:45 am # That artwork piece that Jason Palmer did, back in early Summer, was almost spot on. Talk about foreshadowing. Very nicely done.
I'm surprised he's not promoting the print on his FB page, but here's a link for it that I'm pretty sure we've shared before, in case anyone's interested.

Enjoy.

November 15, 2020 10:26 pm # Boba Fett french, your synopsis from Google a little in advance of the show ended up being accurate. Wherever that's coming from knows what's up.
