HELLO BOBA FETT LOVERS!

This time, I wanted to ask you about something I sometimes think about. What do you think would have happened if Aurra Sing didn’t abandon Boba on The Clone Wars?

To recall the story-plot a little, after Jango’s death, Boba joined with other Bounty Hunters (Bossk, Aurra and Castas) to kill Mace Windu to take revenge on his father’s death.
Aurra taught Boba what he needed to be a good Bounty Hunter.
The original plan was the following one: Boba posed as a cadet clone (they were genetically idenic, so there would be no confussion whatsoever), and then, he installed a bomb in Windu’s room. But their plan failed, because a Clon entered into the room instead of Windu, dying immediately.
What Boba did, was to destroy the Endurance’s reactor, destroying the hull. He escaped with a pod, which was interceptated by Slave I.

After this, the Bounty Hunters made their way to the planet “Vanqor”, where the Endurance had crashed, and they captured Admiral Kilian, Clone Comander Ponds and another officer. And now is when the second attempt to kill Windu comes.
Boba rigged Jango’s helmet as a detonator, and when Mace and Anakin arrived looking for survivors, it exploded, and althogh they didn’t die, they were caught within the rubble.

When the bounty hunters saw the explosion, they assumed Windu died, so they wanted to recover his body. But they were unable to make it to the bridge because of R2-D2, who was trying to delay their advance. As they saw they couldn’t reach there, they decided to destroy the remainder of the Endurance, ensuring that Windu would die. But, obviously, he didn’t. So waht the bounty hunters did, was to use the hostages to lure Windu into a trap. But the Jedi Temple prevented their intention, so they sent Master Plo and Ashoka instead.

After Sing killed Castas (due to he contacted with other bounty hunter, to give some information about Boba and the others), Boba began to realize that he had made a mistake in teaming with the bounty hunters to avenge his father’s death.
When the two jedi arrived, after a little confrontation, the scene ended with Boba pointing Plo Koon’s head, and Ashoka holding her lightsaber to Sing’s throat.

After a distraction, Aurra was able to escape, but she left Boba, instead of protecting him. Boba and Bossk were sent to Coruscant, where they would be imprisoned.
Boba told Windu that he actually felt bad about his actions, bt he also clarified that he would never forgive him.

So, what do you think that would have happened if Aurra didn’t abandone Boba? Would they die in the battle againts Plo and Ashoka, or not? In case they could escape, what kind of future do you think that Boba would have had? Maybe Bossk could have been caught, so his relationship with him, would have finished… Any ideas/opinions? Feel free to comment them!

I feel like Aurra abandoning Boba is necessary for Boba's overall character. His only mother-figure leaving him built him to have a sense of morale he'd keep for the rest of his life. So I feel like if that didn't happen, Boba would probably end up as a more ruthless/gory hunter.

i do think that because his background and experience could have been completely different. and his morals could become completely different. the one thing that would for sure stay is that he would still hate mace windu.

They would have regrouped. Hondo would have seen to it that they got away without bloodshed; Bossk would have probably had to find his own way off, though, assuming he could get away. Once far away, and without the hostages sitting in front of them to tempt them, they would have time to meditate on their own. After this period off the grid, he just might take on whatever work comes his way, biding his time till the proper moment, which of course will not come thanks to the incident with Palpatine and Anakin. After that, he would be free to keep going in the direction of whatever crosses his path.

Not to diss Aurra, she’s cool and all, but she probably would’ve abandoned him later anyway. Or at least something similar. I think she did care for Boba in someway, but if something benefited her she’d probably choose that over Boba’s safety, kind of like in the battle with Plo and Ahsoka.

Hi, I'm a Boba and Jango Fett fan that really loves Star Wars. I'm not too active, but I'm happy to join in discussions.
