Well, that one was different...

Anyone else notice the droid used an EE-3 style blaster, like Boba Fett's primary weapon?

Dave Filoni cameo as the initial X-Wing pilot. Nice touch. In the credits, his name is "Trapper Wolf." Deborah Chow and the director Rick Famuyiwa also have cameos, named in the credits as well as Sash Ketter and Jib Dodger. Voice actor Matt Lanter also appears in live action as the New Republic Soldier.

This episode has been very different from the others, without that Western touch.
It has been interesting to see more bounty hunters during this chapter. And I would like to ask you a question: How do you think the relationship between Ranzar Malk (the man who paid the Command) and The Mandalorian was? Because they already knew each other, and Ranzar's intention was to kill him. And the Mandalorian suspected it.

Any ideas about their past? Maybe they worked together?
Would love to read your opinions!

I suppose, Mando knows him isn't trustworthy, but he needs the money. Mando leaves this group in the past, I think because some kind of ethical dilem. It seems like Mando was a different person when he was with they. Maybe when Mando was young grows with they? Remeber too, Mando leaving one of the partners. I think that only some kind of ethical dilemma could make Mando betray his team.

Yeah good point! Maybe The Mandalorian  suspected of him because of something that happened in the past, and that’s why he didn’t join with him anymore until now. On the other hand and as you said, Dyn (if it’s spelled like that) has other ethical dilem since he is a Mandalorian, and  Ranzar is not. So yeah, they’ve different ways to follow and that could be a reason which explains they don’t trust each other...
Thanks for replying :-)!

Thank you!  It's a pleasure. What is your answer about your own questions? :)

Well, I think that something happened to both The Mandalorian and Ranzar, because if not, Dyn wouldn’t have suspected of his possible treason.
I think that The Mandalorian worked with/for him sometime in the past, and he didn’t get on well with him. And I also really think that Ranzar told to the bounty hunters to attack The Mandalorian during the mission.
Dyn realized that, so he left the tracker there ;-)
