Topic: Did The new Solo movie prevent a movie for Boba Fett?

Honestly I’ve heard rumors that I hope are not true I heard that the solo movie got a Boba Fett movie canceled!

I don't think so, though it MAY have pushed it back a bit. Althoughhe Obi-Wan film is really the one that is pushing the potential Fett film back.

CarsonCornell, the Fett film was only just rumored, so it can't be cancelled if never confirmed. Solo is the second "story" film. They originally planned for three, although now it's all up in the air with the current agenda.

It's gonna be cancelled anyways, the last going to be "Boba Fett Movie" was cancelled, I was so excited. I don't enjoy new star wars, It's dumb. Once Fett died, I left. When Fett comes back I will watch again.

They had supposedly announced a Boba Fett movie the day Solo was released, but now there are reports that the stand-alone movies are either being canceled or are being pushed back. We were SO close!

I heard that Lucasfilm wanted to wait until December to release Solo but disney didn't want to wait. The reason why Solo bombed at the box office is because of disney's stupidity! And I do believe that that blunder which is a gigantic one pretty much killed off the Star Wars Anthology movies for good. It's really, really sad!

ctxboy1981, the timing definitely seemed rushed. Only half a year after a very polarizing Star Wars film, plus all the drama over the original directors getting fired, and a bit of a delay seeing a first trailer. Hopefully future films will get it right.
