Topic: Fett's Helmet/Armor Details

So I was sketching a picture of Fett yesterday, and as I was working on his helmet, I realized that I had no idea why those tick marks where on his helmet. Now, usually when Fett has something on his armor, there's a reason for it, so does anyone know what the orange tick marks in the upper right corner are for? Do they symbolize anything, or do we even know? And while we're on the topic, what about the arrow heads pointing away from each other in the center of his helmet, just above the visor? Any reason for those, or are they some Mandalorian helmet design, or even purely decorative?
