How did you get introduced to Boba Fett? When did you first become interested in him? Just curious, share how you first got introduced/started loving the Fett here. I'll go first. I've been watching the Star Wars movies since I was little and watched the Clone Wars tv series on and off when I was younger too. I always thought he looked really cool, but never really cared much what happened to him. Then my dad took me to a booksale where this one lady was selling a bunch of SW books for 75 cents each. Dad asked if I was interested, since he knew I liked sci-fi more than my other siblings, so I started looking through them. On the top of one of the piles was Star Wars The Bounty Hunter Wars book 1: The Mandalorian Armor. I saw it and was sold instantly. My dad bought it for me, among others, and I've been a die-hard Boba Fett/Star Wars fan ever since. But it all started with Fett. My siblings would always ask me (and still do occasionally) how my favorite character was someone who was in the movies for five seconds, and I always tell them: 1) It was more than five seconds, he was in 4 of the 6 originals. And 2) I read the books.

Sorted by oldest to newestFunnily enough it was the Bounty Hunter Wars books that got me in too. I was actually on the search for Shadows of the Empire and found The Mandalorian Armor and decided to give it a go. I've always been interested in the more obscure character stories from Star Wars. (Plus this was prior to the prequels when I found it).
From there I had to read the rest of the trilogy and was fascinated with Boba Fett's enigmatic character. He's an awesome anti-hero. I also enjoyed Tales of the Bounty Hunters. Things rolled from there.
It was like thousands of voices cried out for a sequel and were suddenly silenced...
I really didn't like most of the characters, then I saw Boba Fett. He was the coolest and looked awesome. Not just that but how he did his missions and stuff, to me he is my favourite character and in my book the most interesting character.
I think that everything began for me when I read Republic Commando series and learned that Jedi weren'tso good after all. Then I learned about Mandalorian culture and got to know that this almost-background character Boba Fett is one of them :)
I agree on all points abt Fett, Aydin. That's awesome. Mahiyana, there is no better way to get into Mandos than the Republic Commando series. Filthy Jedi...... lol
Well, some people believe than Mandalorians in Rebublic Commando series are too focused on family life when they should be fighting, being manly warriors ect...
But I don't agree with that and I'm glad that I discovered this part of Star Wars Universe one way or the other :)
