The "Chosen One" of ancient Jedi prophesy, destined to bring balance to the Force.
Anakin Skywalker began his life as a slave on the desert planet of Tatooine. However, through the help of Qui-Gon Jinn, he was freed from his life of slavery and set on the path to his destiny as the "Chosen One" of ancient Jedi prophesy. Following the untimely death of Qui-Gon Jinn at the hands of the Sith apprentice, Darth Maul, Anakin was taken under the tutelage of Obi-Wan Kenobi and trained in the ways of the Force.
Under Obi-Wan's guidance Anakin's control of the Force grew exponentially and he quickly became one of the Jedi Order's most prized pupils. He was also one of the Order's most rebellious and arrogant members, defying Jedi code and marrying Senator Padme' Amidala.
During his time on Xagobah fighting against the Separtist forces, Anakin helped save the life of Boba Fett who was being attacked by the Dark Jedi, Asajj Ventress. With Anakin's help Boba was able to get his ship repaired and also managed to save Anakin from doom when he destroyed a giant Space Slug that was on the moon's surface. A mutual respect was forged between Skywalker and Fett, and it was with Anakin's help that Boba was able to gain access to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant where he planned on carrying out his revenge on Mace Windu.
Although Boba failed to exact his revenge on Mace, eventually, the Jedi was destroyed when Anakin betrayed him to Palpatine who had recently been revealed as the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Following this betrayal, Anakin pledged his allegiance to Palpatine and was given the Sith name of Darth Vader.
